Auto Electrical Repair
Need Auto Electrical Repair? We diagnose and handle auto electrical work across New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. We find the cause before we quote the fix and get your approval before any work begins, with eligible repairs backed by our 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.

How We Find the Cause
Electrical symptoms — no-start, dead overnight, intermittent issues, blown fuses — need methodical testing. We start with battery and charging system testing under load, then scan all modules for communication issues, then trace parasitic drain with an ammeter (a current draw test that isolates the specific circuit). For intermittent issues, we pull freeze-frame data and may install a data logger. Wiring inspection at known failure points (alternator harness, ECU connector, ground straps) follows.
What Not to Assume
A dead battery does not always mean a bad battery , it can be a parasitic drain from a module that doesn't sleep correctly, an alternator that's undercharging, or corroded battery cables. An intermittent no-start does not always mean a starter , it can be a weak ignition switch, a relay, or a security/immobilizer fault. A "ghost" electrical issue (random warnings, intermittent functions) is often a single bad ground.
What To Expect When We Service Your Auto Electrical Repair
We keep you in the loop from drop-off to pickup:
Electrical diagnosis can run long, so complimentary both-way Lyft rides mean you're not stuck waiting.
Tell us the symptom. What you're noticing is where we start.
We find the cause. We trace the circuit methodically, testing what's live and what's grounded, and isolate parasitic drains instead of swapping parts.
We show you what we found. We walk you through what was tested and what was ruled out, and we quote diagnostic time honestly up front because the work is time.
You approve before any work begins. No surprise charges, ever.
We do the work right and back eligible repairs with our 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
Why Drivers Choose Us
Electrical diagnostics is the most under-respected work in independent repair. We bill for diagnostic time honestly because the work IS time , sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes 3 hours. We walk you through what was tested and what was ruled out before recommending a repair. Eligible electrical repairs are covered by the 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does electrical diagnostic take?
Anywhere from 30 minutes (clear-cut battery or alternator) to several hours (intermittent parasitic drain). We quote diagnostic time up front. If the test runs long, we stop and update you before continuing.
Will a parts-store battery test catch my problem?
A parts-store test confirms whether the battery itself is healthy. It does not detect parasitic drain, alternator output under load, or charging system regulation issues. Those need a shop-level test.
Why does my car die only when sitting for 2-3 days?
Classic parasitic drain. Some module isn't sleeping after the vehicle locks. We use an ammeter and a known-current limit (typically <50 milliamps after 30 minutes) to find which circuit is awake.
My car cranks but won't start. Is it electrical or fuel?
Could be either, plus security/immobilizer. We check spark, fuel pressure, and security communication in parallel. Process of elimination is faster than guessing.
