Diesel transmissions (heavy-duty Allison, ZF, Aisin) handle high torque. Symptoms include slipping under load, harsh shifts, leaks, overheating under tow, or codes. We scan the transmission, road-test under load, inspect fluid condition, and identify whether the issue is electrical (solenoid), hydraulic (valve body), or mechanical (clutch packs, bands).

What Not to Assume

A diesel transmission "slip" under heavy load can be a TCM tune issue, a worn-out fluid, or actual mechanical failure. We test fluid and adaptive learn first.

    Towing/severe service: 30,000-50,000 miles.

  • My Allison is shifting harshly. What's wrong?

    Could be adaptive reset, fluid condition, or a valve body issue. We scan adaptive status and test pressure.
