How We Find the Cause

We check for rust-through, cracked welds, separated joints, broken hangers, and damaged or missing heat shields. What Not to Assume

Can I drive with an exhaust leak?
If the leak is behind the front seats, briefly OK. If it's ahead of the front seats, no , CO can enter the cabin.
Do I need a custom exhaust or can we repair the original?
We repair the OEM exhaust where possible. Performance/aftermarket exhausts are not our specialty; we install, but we don't tune.
Why is my exhaust smell entering the cabin?
Cracked manifold or pipe ahead of the cabin, missing heat shield letting fumes route up, or a body-seam leak. We identify the source.
Will an exhaust leak hurt my engine?
It can , pre-CAT leaks allow extra oxygen to reach the upstream O2 sensor, which the ECU compensates for by running rich. Long-term, rich running shortens spark plug life and contaminates the catalytic converter.
